Happy Monday Reader! Do you consider yourself a leader? We are always setting an example for others around us, whether you're actively in a "leadership role" at work or in the community, or not. Friends, coworkers, kids, family...others are constantly watching what we do. And it's why we have the saying "actions speak louder than words"! Today's affirmation encourages us to embrace our leadership role, no matter how big or small or visible it is: "I am a leader inspiring others with my courage and determination to succeed." For most of us, building a business and life we enjoy doesn't fall into our lap. It's challenging. It makes us want to give up sometimes. We're on a rollercoaster of intense highs & lows. Our determination is the key to moving forward despite the challenges & low points. I'll be honest--I struggled with determination to succeed last week again. (It was bad enough that I just edited our affirmation to remove the word "fearless," because I am not fearless in my business or my life! And I think that's ok. Some fear is healthy.) Being scared or nervous doesn't have to stop us from acting with courage and determination however. We can hold both emotions at the same time. And doing the hard things while scared is the most courageous act of all. So if you too kept going last week despite shit hitting the fan, despite disappointments, despite whatever challenges the universe threw in your path, acknowledge your courageous work by repeating our affirmation 21 times every day this week: "I am a leader inspiring others with my courage and determination to succeed." And for the record? Even just staying alive is a courageous act some days, so if that's all you accomplished last week too, I'm still proud of you!
Bonus: Free Weekly Training VideoI was overly ambitious with my phone's battery last week, and with how many FAQs I could get answered, so here's video 1 of Frequently Asked Time Management Questions! Join me this Wednesday at 7p on Instagram for part 2 and ask your Q live! As always, affirmations work best when you truly believe them. They need to resonate with you and feel achievable. So feel free to modify any I suggest, or develop entirely new ones! Say them as long as you want. I'm sharing a new affirmation each week, but that doesn't mean you have to switch it up each week unless it feels right. You can add new ones as often as you want and have as many as you want. You can say a different affirmation every day, or at different times of the day. You choose! I'd love to hear the impact it has! (But if you decide affirmations are not for you, click here to be removed from this weekly email.) I hope this affirmation sets you up for a kick ass week and I'll see you next Monday for a new one to try! Ready to make time for great things in 2024? I have 1-1 coaching spots available to teach you how to put your limited time, energy, & attention to the work that moves the needle in just 1 hour a week. Hit reply or pick a time on my calendar here to learn more. I always have time for you. ❤️ -- Jen |
Time is the single most valuable thing we have. I help busy business owners get out of overwhelm to work fewer hours in their business (without sacrificing income!) so they can get back to enjoying their business and their life again.

Hello Reader, Our affirmation stays the same this week: I have all the time I need. Remember: If you don't have all the time you need, there are only 2 ways to create it: Delete items from your to-do list or Delegate items from your to-do list I've been thinking a lot over the past week about having all the time I need for my hobbies. As a working adult, I don't always have time for my hobbies! And my hobbies are seasonal to an extent too. I don't need nearly as much time for gardening in the...
