Monday Motivation - "I am always in the right place..." digital backgrounds!

Hello Reader,

Our affirmation stays the same again this week:

I am always in the right place at the right time for what’s meant to be.

I'll be honest: this affirmation hasn't been resonating super well with me. I haven't seen any movement on the job/money/gigs front. I don't feel like I'm in the right place. I'm overwhelmed with the amount of chaos happening in our country right now and I keep re-opening decisions I thought I'd made & put behind me.

But when I look back over the past two weeks with this affirmation, I do see small ways events have unfolded in my favor. So this week, I invite you to also look for the small ways you are in the right place at the right time.

When the light turns green right before you'd need to stop.

When you get home right before the rain breaks.

When you get to do the silly thing with a friend or family member. (Example: I played sardines for the first time with family at Easter this weekend! An easy one to overlook--I wouldn't have had that chance if we hadn't been flexible around last minute plans.)

Our affirmations will show up in big and small ways. It's easy to overlook or dismiss the small events, but really life is just a series of small events.

Take a look back over the past couple weeks and see where this affirmation may have shown up for you in a small way you overlooked at the time.

And feel free to share! I'd love to hear about it too.

To keep our affirmation top of mind this week, today you can download digital backgrounds with our affirmation on them for your phone and/or desktop computer!

If you aren't sure how to change your backgrounds, here are some instructions.

We continue to remind ourselves 21x each day:

I am always in the right place at the right time for what’s meant to be.

Hello Reader, This week we're tackling FOMO! I am always in the right place at the right time for what’s meant to be. My husband is working on a couple side projects: a novel & a video game. Both of these industries can be pretty time sensitive--certain themes and genres seem to be more popular during some years than others. If you miss the window, you might be SOL. At least...that's the way it feels to us! Right now, both of his projects look like winners--a style or mash up of which there...

Hello Reader, If you enjoy these emails, if they make you think, if you get value from my weekly motivational notes, consider forwarding them to a friend! Sharing is caring. ❤️ Our affirmation stays the same again this week: I release guilt and negative thoughts around how I spend my time. Last week was spring break for my husband, so we took a short trip to Omaha, NE! Making time for even mini vacations is a high priority for me. My husband and I love to travel, and even though our reduced...
