Happy Monday Reader!
We're back for a new affirmation to power us through the week.
Our goals and dreams can seem really far away sometimes, can't they? There are so many day to day tasks that consume the bulk of our time & energy. It can be hard to carve out time to work on long term goals. It can feel pointless or futile.
But you know I'm a fan of reminding you that small progress is still progress, so this week we have a variation on that theme:
"I know what I want and I'm taking steps to get it."
Sometimes it's a big step to even admit to ourselves what we want.
Maybe we want a partner who says they love us with their words as well as their actions.
Maybe we want a completely different career path than the one we're currently on.
Maybe we actually want to make a million dollars in a year, even though everyone around us believes millionaires are fundamentally bad people. (Or maybe I'm projecting here....😉 )
Maybe we just want to take a damn vacation without being interrupted by work for once.
Whatever your dream is, you don't need to justify it to me or anyone else. Sometimes we just want what we want. It can be harder (and definitely more exhausting) to keep trying to deny it.
So acknowledge whatever huge desire you have. And maybe this week, the steps you take to get it are simply learning to be ok with wanting that. With knowing you're not a broken or silly person for wanting it.
This week we're embracing our ambitions by repeating 21x every day "I know what I want and I'm taking steps to get it."
And if you don't actually know what you want? Or admitting it seems way too scary & hard? Please reach out and we'll schedule time to chat about it! Hit reply or pick a time on my calendar here. I always have time for you. ❤️
As always, affirmations work best when you truly believe them. They need to resonate with you and feel achievable. So feel free to modify any I suggest, or develop entirely new ones!
Say them as long as you want. I'm sharing a new affirmation each week, but that doesn't mean you have to switch it up each week unless it feels right. You can add new ones as often as you want and have as many as you want. You can say a different affirmation every day, or at different times of the day. You choose!
I'd love to hear the impact it has! (But if you decide affirmations are not for you, click here to be removed from this weekly email.)
I hope this affirmation sets you up for a kick ass week and I'll see you next Monday for a new one to try!
Breathe deep. Drink plenty of water. You got this!

Time is the single most valuable thing we have. I help busy business owners get out of overwhelm to work fewer hours in their business (without sacrificing income!) so they can get back to enjoying their business and their life again.
Hello Reader, Our affirmation stays the same again this week: I am always in the right place at the right time for what’s meant to be. I'll be honest: this affirmation hasn't been resonating super well with me. I haven't seen any movement on the job/money/gigs front. I don't feel like I'm in the right place. I'm overwhelmed with the amount of chaos happening in our country right now and I keep re-opening decisions I thought I'd made & put behind me. But when I look back over the past two...
I'm launching a new self-led course and need your help! I'm looking for 2-3 people to be among the first to try it and share your thoughts. Your feedback will help me fine-tune the experience before the full launch. You'll get free lifetime access to the course (priced at $149) in return. Ready to explore and help me shape something new?? Hit reply and let me know! Hello Reader, This week we're tackling FOMO! I am always in the right place at the right time for what’s meant to be. My husband is working on a couple side projects: a novel & a video game. Both of these industries can be pretty time sensitive--certain themes and genres seem to be more popular during some years than others. If you miss the window, you might be SOL. At least...that's the way it feels to us! Right now, both of his projects look like winners--a style or mash up of which there...
