Monday Motivation - I recognize every moment as a chance to be intentional with my time, energy, and attention.

Happy Monday Reader!

We're wrapping up the first month of 2024 this week!

Make sure you take time to reflect on how it's gone for you. Be honest with yourself, but not overly strict--it's just as important to recognize and celebrate our achievements (no matter how small) as it is to acknowledge where we fell short of our intentions.

For me, I've done a great job of following through on my quarterly goal of posting every day on social media. But I haven't done a good job of reviewing the metrics to see what's working best and do more of it. So that's one place I can improve next month. (And you can help hold me accountable! ;) )

You know I love finding ways to work smarter not harder, and taking time to review our work helps that. It allows us to use the Pareto Principal, or the 80/20 rule, which says 80% of our results come from 20% of our efforts.

So review your goals and find where things are already working, and make a plan to do more of it in February!

Today's affirmation will help us make those effective actions more of our focus. We repeat to ourselves 21x every day this week:

"I recognize every moment as a chance to be intentional with my time, energy, and attention."

Any monkey with a laptop & internet connection can start a business these days. But staying in business? That requires mastering sales & marketing...which a lot of us struggle with!

In this video I discuss my top tips & tools to save time when marketing your business!

As always, affirmations work best when you truly believe them. They need to resonate with you and feel achievable. So feel free to modify any I suggest, or develop entirely new ones!

Say them as long as you want. I'm sharing a new affirmation each week, but that doesn't mean you have to switch it up each week unless it feels right. You can add new ones as often as you want and have as many as you want. You can say a different affirmation every day, or at different times of the day. You choose!

I'd love to hear the impact it has! (But if you decide affirmations are not for you, click here to be removed from this weekly email.)

I hope this affirmation sets you up for a kick ass week and I'll see you next Monday for a new one to try!

Hello Reader, Do you remember learning about "opportunity cost" in school? Opportunity cost is the potential forgone profit from a missed opportunity. In simpler terms, the result of choosing one thing over another. Literally every decision we make comes with opportunity cost, including how we spend our time. I release guilt and negative thoughts around how I spend my time. Instead of feeling guilty or beating yourself up for making a certain choice about how you spent your time yesterday or...

Hello Reader, Our affirmation stays the same this week: I am eager. I am energized. I am open. I am ready. Do you believe in manifesting? That you can think or will something into being? It sounds like total woo-woo BS, right?! I was a complete skeptic until my coach had me try it years ago. It worked in a few unexpected ways then, and now it's happened again! After I wrote last week's email, I received an email asking about my coaching services for a business team. This is not an opportunity...
