Our affirmation stays the same again this week:
\nI release guilt and negative thoughts around how I spend my time.
\nLast week was spring break for my husband, so we took a short trip to Omaha, NE! Making time for even mini vacations is a high priority for me.
\nMy husband and I love to travel, and even though our reduced budget (and the fact I work in an office again!) means we no longer take weeks-long international trips, I still make time to travel about once a quarter.
\nSometimes it's even as small as a stay-cation in our own city! One of our favorite memories was the time we rented an AirBnB apartment across the street from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and walked over through slowly falling, giant snow flakes.
\nIt's so helpful just to change your surroundings. To get away from the never ending chore list of your home. I find it's easier for me to release guilt about not being ~Productive~ when I literally can't do those chores!
\nRemember: there's absolutely no shame in stacking the deck in your favor! It's your life and there's no right or wrong way to do it.
\nTo keep our affirmation top of mind this week, today you can download digital backgrounds with our affirmation on them for your phone and/or desktop computer!
